You have room to choose what fits you.
You’ll have approximately 12 hours at the property, with one wedding taking place each day. There are five outdoor ceremony sites, indoor options and multiple backup plans for inclement weather. You can personalize the spaces, bring in outside vendors within our venue guidelines and purchase your own alcohol rather than buying it through the venue.
All of that happens among mature pecan and oak trees, landscaped grounds, a creek, pond and the natural character that has made this property home to hundreds of weddings over the years.

Pecan Springs Ranch has hosted everything from relaxed, nature-filled celebrations to elaborate weddings with significant florals, installations, and cultural traditions. Our property gives you a setting with character without forcing you to abide with a certain look or feel.
This flexibility extends to the vendors you are able to choose. Outside catering and other food providers may be permitted with approval and applicable venue requirements.
You get the whole day, not a narrow window.
With approximately 12 hours of access and only one wedding per day, there's ample time to get ready here, set up, take photos, celebrate with your favorite people, and enjoy the beautiful property you chose for your big day.
Five outdoor ceremony settings, plus indoor options.
Our 17-acre property gives you the flexibility to choose the part of the property that feels right for your ceremony. And if the forecast changes, you've got options.
You can buy your own alcohol.
Pecan Springs Ranch doesn't sell alcohol, which means you can purchase your own rather than being required to buy it through the venue. Approved professional bartending and staffing requirements still apply, but you can maintain more control over what you serve and what you spend.

Pecan Springs Ranch was an absolutely beautiful venue for our wedding! Located in South Austin near Oak Hill, it has a charming, rustic ranch atmosphere with so many gorgeous places to take photos. Pecan Springs Ranch provided several rental options and handled setting up the ceremony chairs, which made the process much easier. The grounds are gorgeous and so well maintained. There were many beautiful spots to choose from for the ceremony and pictures. Humble Beginnings and Pecan Roots
Our story at Pecan Springs Ranch started with purchasing this property as a family and continues into the present with serving couples, non-profits, and companies with their big events.
Located just 10 miles away from downtown Austin, surrounded by stunning pecan and oak trees, and rooted on 17 acres, our venue features a creek, fresh springs, and a pond. Many guests are surprised when they arrive at our venue - it’s like a hidden gem they had no idea was so close to downtown Austin!
We are passionate about not only caring for the land and all its flora, but keeping the space in pristine condition to let your event really shine.
One aspect that really sets us apart is that the space is stunning year-round! Our grounds are green all year and our wildflowers bloom in the spring.

How many guests can Pecan Springs Ranch acommodate?
The climate-controlled indoor space can accommodate approximately 250 guests with a dance floor. Additional configurations may incorporate connected covered and outdoor areas.
What happens if it rains?
You won't be relying on a single outdoor plan. Pecan Springs Ranch offers five outdoor ceremony locations along with indoor ceremony capability and three inclement-weather options. Our covered and climate-controlled spaces give you alternatives if the forecast changes.
Can we choose our own vendors?
We offer significant vendor flexibility, but there are some requirements.
Outside caterers, restaurants, food trucks, and other food providers may be permitted with prior approval and must meet applicable insurance and venue requirements. Bar staffing also has specific requirements.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes. Pecan Springs Ranch does not sell alcohol, so couples can purchase their own.
Professional bartending requirements apply. Bartenders must meet Pecan Springs Ranch's certification, insurance and staffing requirements and come through an approved source.
Do we need a wedding coordinator?
Yes. Pecan Springs Ranch requires couples to have a wedding coordinator. Many couples choose month-of coordination rather than full-service planning.
Do you host multicultural weddings?
Yes. Pecan Springs Ranch has hosted multicultural and fusion celebrations incorporating a wide range of traditions, including Indian weddings, dual ceremonies, bilingual ceremonies, Baraats and mandaps. The team works with couples and their vendors to understand what the celebration requires.
How long do we have the venue?
Approximately 12 hours. Pecan Springs Ranch hosts one wedding per day, giving you significantly more time to get ready, decorate, take photos and enjoy the property throughout the celebration.
Is there lodging on the property?
No, but hotels are 5 minutes down the road from us in Oak Hill, Dripping Springs, South Austin, and downtown Austin. Contact our team for a complete list of our hotel reccommendations!
Are tables and chairs included?
Yes. Tables and chairs are among the furnishings included with the venue rental, along with a one-time ceremony and reception setup within Pecan Springs Ranch's setup parameters.
What is the role of the on-site manager?
The Pecan Springs Ranch on-site manager’s role is to answer questions, watch the property, and act as point person for Pecan Springs Ranch for all other vendors. To keep restrooms clean and stocked during event and take care of any venue related items immediately.
